The Trace Volunteer Fire Department is assisting county personnel with a community search for Miles Turner, 21, a University of Tennessee at Chattanooga student believed to have traveled through western Georgia.
Turner was driving a dark four-door sedan with Tennessee registration and may have been carrying a small video camera. His last confirmed telephone call was placed on August 24.
Volunteers should report to the fire hall at 7:00 a.m. Thursday wearing boots, long pants and light-colored clothing. Do not remove or handle objects found along the roadside. Report possible information directly to a search coordinator.
