The Trace Historical Society has completed a preliminary index of six photographs showing residents gathered outside the volunteer fire hall during a community search in late August 2000.
Most volunteers have now been identified. The photographer and two people visible near the edge of frame four remain unknown. A dark sedan parked across the road appears in three images but cannot be matched to an entry in the Town vehicle log.
The photographs were donated without negatives. High-resolution copies may be viewed in the depot reading room by appointment.
