The Town of Trace dedicated new field lights at Benton Little League Field during a ceremony Saturday morning. The project was completed through a county recreation grant and donations from local businesses.
League president Walter Boone recognized coaches Felicia Grant and Owen Maddox, electrician Perry Sloan and grounds volunteers Jessa Reed, Marvin Cole and Terri Sykes.
The Trace Cardinals will play the Mill Creek Hawks in the first evening game under the lights on Friday, May 30.
